Are the guitar straps sold at the RB store more comfortable than the one that comes included with the guitar?

Are the drum sticks better in any way?

If you want a comfortable strap, go to a music store and pick one up for like $10-15. I used to use my Bass Guitar strap for guitar hero... the default RB strap was fine for me, but I imagine a real strap would work even better on the strat than it did on the x.

i would like to know if the straps are longer. i like playing my guitar really low, and the strap that came with it is too short.

i'd like to know this, too (before buying one). the strap that came with the original Guitar Hero was too short for me, so i picked up a replacement at the music store.

it turned out the pegs on the original GH SGs were much thicker than the holes on the new strap i bought, so i had to make the holes bigger. not really a problem, except that the pegs on the SG are also much thicker than the ones on the strat. so much so that when i try to use my real guitar strap from my GH SG, it just falls off shortly after i start a song.

suffice it to say i need a new strap for the strat as i don't like how short the one that came with it is. i'd really like to support Harmonix and buy a Rock Band strap, but that's only going to work if it's long enough.

I bought a couple of "real" guitar straps from Guitar Center. They had the same range of adjustment (length wise) as the guitar hero ones ... maybe a little more range actually. They fit perfectly on the controllers "nubs".

Works for Rockband Fender, PS2 GH2 controllers and the GH3 Les Paul.

The straps that come with the GH ones sucked so bad I never even bothered getting the Rockband one out of the box. I just used a real strap. Much more comfortable.

Apparently you misread my post. When I asked:
”Are the guitar straps sold at the RB store more comfortable than the one that comes included with the guitar?”

What I really meant was:
“Are the guitar straps sold at the RB store more comfortable than the one that comes included with the guitar?”

I did not mean it to be read like:
“Anybody care to make an stupid remark for all of us who think the original RB guitar strap is uncomfortable?”

Sorry for all the confusion.

Though i don't know whether or not the strabs from the RB store ae any good or not - as i don't have one myself, I figured I'd point you to this:

Comfort Heaven (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Levys-Boot-Leather-Guitar-Strap?sku=360548)

Can't go wrong with really big leather straps. :P

I personally use my guitar strap I had on my Ibanez, which looks very close to one of these:

LazyLink[tm] (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Planet-Waves-World-Tour-Strap?sku=365242)

It feels great when using it for my GH X-Plorer as it is a bit longer than the strap that came with the controller. I haven't tried it on my Strat as that has been sent out on return and I haven't gotten the chance to really use it...
