Allman Brothers Band is definitely what I think of

Skynyrd, because they embodied the whole lifestyle. I always though of the Allman Brothers as a blues/jam band from the south.

Lynyrd Skynyrd. As timmay9 mentioned, The Allman Brothers don't really fit into the Southern rock genre as well as many other bands, including Lynyrd Skynyrd. I prefer The Allman Brothers band though.
