Why can't I use my PS Eye as a 2nd Mic!!!!!!

It's USB, so WTF!? I want to sing w/ my fiance, this sucks. and I don't feel like buying an expensive mic. I don't see why the PS Eye mic wouldn't work! BTW, Rock Band is effin sweet.

^^ Yes you can, just check Best Buy they have them pretty cheap.

I'm glad I have "Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol" and "Karaoke Revolution Party" for PS2 and Xbox respectively. I haven't tried them yet, but since the game is made by HMX, then it only seems right that its mic should be compatible. Plus they're good games if you and your fiance like singing games.

I imagine it has to do with the fact that it's two devices built into one. Likely the PS3 recognizes it as just the Eye, and not just as two separate devices.
