Hello there!

I wish to join a casual band (by that I mean 'not likely to get verbally raped for failing Painkiller'). I'd prefer to join a British band because of time zone issues. I play expert guitar, drums and bass, but I'm not really that great at any of them.

The thing is, I flat-out refuse to play any songs I don't like hearing (Paramore, Modest Mouse, Panic at the Disco, anything 'new' really) and I figure this might be a problem with most people here. Of course that means if a potential bandmate doesn't want to play a song that I want to play, I'm more than happy to play something else. :)

So yeah, giz an add if you're interested. PSN: Pippynip.

I have the exact opposite problem...I flat out hate playing songs like Painkiller, Battery, Shoulder to the Plow, which people seem to always pick. I get tired of playing the same Nightmare songs over and over again. Also, good luck finding people with DLC, I can't ever seem to find them (I'm on Xbox Live).

Otherwise...welcome to the forums man!!!

Oh, me constantly failing those songs if people pick them should be enough to make people stop picking them :)

Oh wait, I forgot... Even if I fail chances are I'll still have to play... Dammit. (Recent GH convert here...)

Cheers for the welcome!

And I'll second the cheers?

Um... no that doesn't make sense. I'll clone the cheers. Yes. I'll also remember your PSN and add you when I go on me PS3 next. I've got... 80-something DLC I think? Don't have the exports, although I really want them. Not quite as much as I want a bass guitar though.

I know exactly what you mean. Im more of a classic rock person and i hate playing the metal or "hard" rock songs that everyone picks (with the exception of Panic Attack). You can add me if you want. I do vocals most of the time but im recently getting into the drums
