PS3 Mic Help?

Can someone please help me with an issue with my mic?
I have PS3 version and usb mic seems to not register. all other devices i got with package worked fine but when i use my controller to enable mic it just says no mic found. I was wondering if i have to do something else first or if the mic is just broken. It never worked and XMB doesnt see it at all.

ypou might have to go into the settings on the main menu an register it like a usb headset not sure tho try it might worek lol

Sorry to say but it sounds like it's broke to me. I just plugged mine in and it works without doing anything extra.

You might have a defective mic. I just plugged mine in and it worked as well. Maybe try plugging it into your computer & see if your computer see's it. They're supposed to be standard USB mic's, so if it isn't defective, I would assume your computer would recognize it.
