I saw the comic about The Last Guardian...
sad, but oh so true.

That was awesome.
I just started playing Prototype today, and I kicked a helicopter.
It is awesome.
I just wish the controls weren't so sketchy.

I know what you mean flood. Trying to glide and it's not working, gets irritating after a little while. But it's such a fun game!

I don't think the controls are sketchy at all, at least, I've never had any problems with them.
I just recently beat [Prototype], and the ending is awesome. One of the best action games I've played, hands down. Like, GTA with crazy awesome superpowers and even more mass murder? SIGN ME UP!
Also that comic was funny as hell.

im serious. inFAMOUS is great game, and from what i have heard, better than prototype. but if he is on the 360, then that is the best open world, city-climber game out there for it.

I agree. From what I've seen and played, Prototype is a pretty awesome game, but inFAMOUS outshines it in pretty much every way imaginable including story, controls, and graphics.

I'll agree that inFamous is a better game, but that doesn't mean Prototype is bad. Not by any stretch of the imagination is Prototype bad.
I just think the controls are sketchy.

i didnt say it was a bad game, i actually considered buying it. but inFamous is keeping me busy along with CoD5 and Little Big Planet.
The only thing i have against it is the gloomy atmosphere of the game, but thats a personal problem.

Penny Arcade's comment about Prototype reminds me of Yahtzee's statement on Painkiller: "All you need to know is there is a gun that shoots shurikens and lightning."

I heard Prototype was terrible. Recycled game concept and PS2/PSP graphics.

every game concept is recycled. And i don't know where you heard the PS2/PSP graphics thing, but that is completely false. And do you play a game for graphics or fun?

The graphics aren't ps2/psp. That is a ludicrous statement.
TBH though, if I have a choice between two fun games, where one looks like crap, and the other is gorgeous, which one am I gong to pick?
The one that Jesus didn't beat up with an ugly tree.

Ok, so this is how it works.
Graphics: inFAMOUS > Prototype
Powers: inFAMOUS < Prototype
Story: inFAMOUS < Prototype
Playability: inFAMOUS > Prototype (this is debatable)
Entertainment: inFAMOUS < Prototype
Replay Value: inFAMOUS (extremely repetitive) < Prototype

In your opinion.
Having knives and spears for hands are cool, but there is nothing spectacular about it.
So far, Prototype has been extemely repetitive. Race through the checkpoints. Glide here. Absorb/Infiltrate. Kill things. Repeat ad nausea.
The story in both of these games is drivel. I mean absolute, campy B-level drivel.
The entertainment level in these games varies. I was able to really session with inFamous (3-5 hour play sessions each time I turned it on). I've only been able to play Prototype for an hour at most. I'm not sure why, the heat may actually be a reason I don't want to sit in the living room killing things.
In my opinion inFamous > Prototype, but its all relative to what you enjoy in a game.
EDIT- v Also, I did alot of this myself at first. v
