I have the GH3 Les Paul. The orange button has to be pressed extemely hard to activate. I've had that thing since GH3 launched. Its the only one I use. I have the RB1 strat, but I hate it. So what do I do now? Do they still sell the Les Paul's new? What about the GHWT guitars? Are they sold separately now? I can't stand the strat. I might wait until the beatles to get those, but are the strum bars like RB's? *sighs*

Likely a bad contact between the neck and body. Clean the contacts and make sure the pins are touching when the neck is plugged in.

They don't make Les Pauls anymore, but you can get them for fairly cheap at most retrailers.

Gamestop was having a promotion a few weeks ago, if you got GH:A you got a free xplorer. Now alot of gamestops have brand new wired xplorers for 30 bucks.

it started dropping notes again. what i did this time was run some string/cord from the strap loop on the back of the neck to the strap loop on the end and tightened the hell out of it. no problems so far.

My WT guitar broke recently, too. Can't downstrum anymore, so I've been using the dated Xplorer I have around...

Good call, captain. Short of hard-wiring the damn neck and body together, there's always the potential for it to act up again

Les Paul guitars are available pretty much everywhere around my area. All 5 Wal-Marts and all 3 GameStops around me have them. It shouldn't be hard to get a new one.

My advice for the Les Paul, though, is to make a paper shim for the detachable neck. I took some notebook paper and folded it up. Then you put the paper in the neck slot and slide the neck into place. It should be real tight, but not so tight you have to break the neck just to get it together. Once I did that for mine, I had perfect response.

That's exactly what happened to me. Can't downstrum, so I'm using Xplorer now. Other than having thin neck, I love it.

I've been using my Xplorer a few times a week since GH2's release and it still works great. Only problem is that the strum bar falls from where It should be. Still quality!

Is the neck thicker so that my thumb doesn't wrap all the way around and hit the green button?

If not, NO DICE.
