Do you mean that my equipment works or that I have gotten 100% while playing?

Flawless on Expert level on "Say it Ain't So."

Honestly the secret for me is saving up the energy and stick clicking through the solos as to keep time (since the solo parts are delayed on the drums and thus easy to lose timing when stepping back into the beat) and then doing the solo during what would normally be the toughest part of the song.

I've also gotten an 857 note streak on another song (on expert) and must have missed literally one note with a 99% finishing score.

I can consistently net 95-98% on about 10 songs all on expert, but that's mainly because I can play drums in real life and could already play half of those songs in real life. Stand-outs for me are "In Bloom" "Creep" "Say it Ain't So" "Dani California" "I Think I'm Paranoid" "Maps" etc. etc. Each song (except "I Think I'm Paranoid") has a section or two that I miss a few beats, but overall mid-high 90's isn't hard for me even on expert.

Sometimes playing on medium and hard makes it worse for me because I hit too many bass kicks or other pads because I'm used to the real song/drums, so expert can actually be easier.

HOLY CRAP. Much respect for anyone who can get Flawless on Expert.

I got Flawless ONCE on Black Hole Sun on Hard. I think it was sheer luck.

Flawless = In The Zone.

I find that I get the best scores when I'm relaxed and playing more by intuition than by what's on the screen. Does that make sense? If I get panicky because I see a tough change coming down the screen I'm more likely to flub it that if I just go with the flow.

That being said, I haven't even beaten the game on Hard yet. :eek:

To get flawless on Vasoline I take it you can play drums in real life, right?

Jeez that intro is killing me. Did you practice it a lot?

I need to sit down and really hammer out those tough ones. I love that song, but man he hits a lot of ghost notes and back snare hits in between tightly timed bass pedal hits.

I can finish Tom Sawyer on expert, but I haven't paid attention to my score % wise. I may try that tonight.

BTW - are we talking 100% in solo/tour mode or in practice mode? I imagine I could get more flawless songs without those darn off timed fills.

I'm talking about flawless drumming in game like with fills, etc.

I agree. As a real drummer, I cannot play on anything less than Hard. I find my self playing the actual song as apposed to the notes on the screen. Ive hit 99% on Expert (715 Note Streak) for Queens of the Stone Age - Go With the Flow. My gamertag is Arnaldo335 if you wanna check it.. I believe im ranked in the top 50 for that song. I LOVE THIS FREAKIN GAME!!!!!!!!!

I did it online in a random game. I remember when I was playing it that I was owning, but wasn't sure if I 100% or not, and sure enough i did. I have never played drums in real life, but I've played guitar for 3 years, and my old man plays drums so I guess I got some of his 'uber skillzorz'
