I guess I have to admit to myself that I'm the exception to all the hate cast upon this football player.

SO for all the nasty people out there wishing ill will towards a athlete who was abusive to many dogs ..... how was that fuccking hotdog you ate for lunch today? Did you enjoy it's fleshy goodness. Do you feel good about yourself for directly taking a role in the horrific "husbandry" practices inflicted upon these animals from thier sad births thru their more than timely ends? How was that fuccking chicken fuccking nugget?? Was it xtra tasty due to the stress put upon the bird while it lived out it's miserable existance in an overcrowded small cage w/ no ****ing beak...turkeys, pigs, chickens... # in the BILLIONS each year raised in factory farms where the LAST thing anyone considers is the feelings of the "animals"

So can anyone please tell me why I should give two ****s about a few hundred abused dogs? I'm being serious.

Mate, normal natural selection. Evolution. Feel your teeth. Canines are there for a reason. Animals cannot like we can either. But abusing dogs is wrong, and so long as the animal has a decent life and is treated well what can be wrong with eating meat?

Anyway yes I'm not a follower of NFL (what with me living in the UK and all that) but what he did was wrong.

And yes I will tuck into my scotch eggs i have right here. Yummy sausagemeat! I have black pudding in the fridge somewhere :P

Me too. Aren't prisons supposed to rehabilitate people? And if that's the case, shouldn't he be allowed to do what he does best when he gets out of prison?

I'm not condoning what he did, because I think it's awful, but once he serves his term, give the guy a break.

It seems like people are overreacting simply because he's a celebrity, and they want to see someone's life ruined.

If this was your cousin, who made an admittedly huge mistake, and he was sent off to prison for a couple years, would you still hope for him to suffer even after being released? If he wants to go back to his job at his cubicle, he should be allowed to. And for Vick it should be no different.

Well yeah i certainly agree that eating meat is fine I actually have no problem w/ people hunting or raising animals with respect, killing them and eating them--my point---and it seems like you agree i guess?-- is that the abuse of these dogs led to the outrage currently aimed at this dude....where's the outrage for all the pigs!? The difference is that these dogs are pitted against each other against their will and after killed they are just buried. The animals you mentioned are for sustinance... They get eaten... The dogs don't (unless you are in china)..

I also believe that Ray Lewis and the guy who got convicted of vehicular homicide should be stricken from NFL records as well...

Plus, it is a felony.. Not like he failed a drug test or something

Oh sorry, I thought you were talking to me lol. He was technically charged with a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice, and fined 250,000, I think.

The other two guys he was with were acquitted of charges.

it is nuts how our legal system works. Ray Lewis gets charged for trying to cover up a murder that was eventually aquitted and O.J. is found innocent and then sued for the death of Ron Goldmen and loses... :confused:
