Hey, all. Finally picked up my copy of RB on PS3 a few days ago...lucky I go to college in a none-too-densely-populated area, or I probably would've never found it. Anyway...

How long is it before the now-famous Stratocaster controller defects start showing up--the double-strum and all that? I'm not sure if mine IS defective. On the one hand, it hasn't shown the double-strum or anything, but on the other, the initially tight, clicky feeling of the strum has gradually developed into what I can only describe as squishiness. While testing on the menu indicates that the bar is still perfectly sensitive, it just doesn't *feel* sensitive, and the little bit of extra force required for it to register has caused a few problems on the tougher songs I'm learning to play. Is this worth sending it in, or is it just something I ought to get used to?

A friend of mine has also played on a Strat controller known to be defective, and he said that, despite the defect, it still just "felt better to play".

yes your guitar is defective let me really quick explain what is going on if you want a fix look for one of my other comments they are useally at the end of strum fix threads that have bad ideas for fixes.

the contact is sappost to have support behind it has about a mm gap behind it because the pad is to small. so after so many strums it bends and causes problems

small pad
--------------] bent contact
--------------] stum contact(fine does not need to be fixed
