Just read about this. tmz.com claims that his family says it is not looking good, but all we can do is hope for the best.

Wow! If it is true, that makes 3: Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, & Michael Jackson

They said he had no history of medical problems. This is shocking. First Ed McMahon. Then Farrah Fawcett (unfortunately we knew this was coming eventually) and now Michael Jackson. (Jackson's being the most surprising of the three)

I don't think that's true. I remember awhile ago hearing he had been in the hospital for something (not plastic surgery related).

Either way, it still sucks.

Regardless of anything that happened in his life privately & publicly, he did create some of the most memorable music of the '70's & '80's (he went downhill in the '90's).

well it is not confirmed that he is yet...but if MJ has unfortunately passed away, the publishing rights pass on to his estate and to whomever he has bequeathed them to. If there is no will, then they pass to whomever inherits under the intestacy laws of the state he resides in.

If he owes money to people(which I believe he does..a LOT OF OF IT), it is likely that any creditors out there will seek to attach those publishing rights to fulfill said debt, thus most likely the estate will sell them off to satisfy any debt of the estate to said creditors.

I know the guy had more good stuff than those albums (but since those are my favorites I pointed them out).

Entertainer Michael Jackson has died after being taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest, according to multiple reports including the Los Angeles Times and the Associated Press. CNN has not confirmed his death.

Jackson, 50, had been in a coma at the hospital, sources told CNN.

Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, said he was told by brother Randy Jackson that Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in west Los Angeles, California, Thursday morning.

Family members were told of the situation and were either at the hospital or en route, Oxman said.

Fire Capt. Steve Ruda told CNN a 911 call came in from a west Los Angeles residence at 12:21 p.m.

Ruda said Jackson was treated and transferred to the UCLA Medical Center.

Asked specifics of the patient's condition, he said he could not discuss them because of federal privacy laws.
