Join a online game

I know this must be very simple but I just cant find out how.. I can player online if I am thge leader and select find players.. But how do I join a game (makie myself available) to find an existing game.. FOr sintance, when I hit "find players" where is it finding them from and how do I make myself available for others to find me?

Clicking "Find Players" works to both add you to existing bands as well as start a band with you as the leader.

I'm assuming that the net code looks to see which instrument has the highest count of players waiting to join bands before it decides whether or not to first look to add you to a band or to start a new one.

I think the decision is also weighted more heavily on how many local players you have seeking to play online. If I'm the only one playing locally I generally get added to an existing band.

This is from my experience on PSN. I'm guessing it applies equally to 360.

That sounds about right. I'm on XBox Live and have always been by myself when going online, and I've never been the band leader.
