Punk Rock Tournament: CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Through two weeks of competition, we've gone from 32 bands, to 2. This poll will be left up for 48 hours, rather than the usual 24. The championship is between two influential bands. The Clash and The Dead Kennedys.

The Clash will probably win, but The Dead Kennedys will always be better for me. I honestly think that they were a more clever band with better written songs and albums. That isn't to say that I don't like the clash, I just prefer DK by a good margin. I also like their sound and style better. Jello's hilarious.

Both great bands, but I went with DK. The way I see it DK never released a bad album and The Clash released Cut the Crap.

The Clash are a piss poor excuse for a band. I'm no DK's purist, but they're a great band with a consistantly good output, and are miles ahead of The Clash.

I still think The Misfits are the essential punk band.
