They will try to tell you there is no extended warrantee for Rock Band.
It is not in their system to offer it, which is true.
After MUCH phone conversation, I was able to get them to give me some much needed info. I bought two bundles, so when I told them I would be returning them to their store and buying it from Wally world, they suddenly had information for me. Low and behold they are going to cover it for free. You have to write a letter to the company and they will cover it. Pain in the ass, but it will work.

Send them the ticket number, the model number, and the date of purchase.
As long as you bought it within the last 30 days, they will cover it.
