View Full Version : Possibly some Sublime?

Hard to pick through the great songs for something that can be cleaned up enough lyrically for a T for Teen game. "Date Rape" is almost a perfect song for the game musically, but would have to be a stretch on the lyrics (despite its positive message and no swearing).

Maybe "Pawn Shop". It's sort of a jam session. Total test of focus for the bass line (hold on to your sanity through 6 solid minutes of the same funky 12 note pattern). Guitar solos, strange and clean vocals, drums keep you on your toes.

"Garden Grove" has the S-word a few times, but not so much you'd break the song by editing it out. Having "Don't Push", "Garden Grove", and "Right Back" all in a row would be great.

"Pool Shark" again the live version, it may be too simple (as in uncomplicated) for some people.

Really they have a lot of songs that would be fun and difficult to play.

What I Got or Wrong Way would be good.

I don't think language is really an issue. Have you heard all the F-Bombs in the un-edited Killing In The Name from GHII?

That said, I think Santeria would be awesome, as well as What I Got and maybe Wrong Way. Like I said, I don't think language is an issue, but there could be an issue as far as subject matter, but then it is rated Teen for lyrics rather than E10+.

I love Sublime, I really do, but I don't think it would work on Rock Band. Maybe Seed or Same in the End, but that's it....

Who cares, Sublime is trash music anyways.
