No World for Tomorrow would be great choice for a new Coheed song in the game, the riff would be challenging for guitar and fun to play because it would keep you busy. The vocals would be fun because well Claudio is a beast at singing, and overall it would just be a really fun song to play.

Hate to admit it, but the Yellowcard guy is right. That one Coheed song is too long, incredibly boring, and it borrows too much from 70s/early 80s to even be memorable. Hell, the only reason I remember it is that the lyrics are horridly Junior High level and it lasts way too long, like a Junior High play.

Yellowcard having a lot more better songs than Coheed? Surely you're joking. Yellowcard is a joke, and Coheed is one of the most talented bands out there.

The problem with the Coheed song included in there is its length and thievery of nearly every late 70s/early 80s riff out there. Don't even mention the sophmoric lyrics.

It's not that I'm not open to new stuff -- I have a diverse collection of music -- but that particular song is a snore fest that goes about six minutes too long (or however long the entire thing is).

Maybe they are great musicians with deep thoughts and the best of intentions, but that song sounds like someone wrote it during Study Hall next to a bad sketch of a dragon. It's not catchy at all (even it's Kashmir ripoff is forgettable), and including a song that's from the middle of a pretentious four-CD-spanning "epic story" is out of place.

It's the same way I was a little upset that every song on the "hardest set" is from the 70s. Molly Hatchet, Iron Maiden, The Outlaws... Where's my giant collar and avocado refrigerator? These aren't bad songs for the most part, but the entire most difficult set is all from the same time period? I'm glad there's no Slayer or Dragonforce, of course, but there are better, more familiar choices.

Ps -- It doesn't have to be hair metal or dark metal or classic metal to be difficult and challenging. Where's the Journey? Where's the Styx? Where are the anthem rockers instead of the oldies favorites?

I think that people are going to love or hate Coheed cause simply, you enjoy his voice or you absolutely hate it and can't get by it. i happen to think Coheed is amazing, they are amazing musicians and i love nearly every song they throw out. Having said that, I have to agree that Welcome Home probably was not a solid song choice for people who have never listened to the band before...it is probably my least favorite song by them anyhow. they should have given us some Favor House Atlantic or Three Evils Embodied In Love and Shadow or maybe Devil In Jersey City or their new song Running Free...i think those songs have a better chance at likeability by a larger group of people.
Oh, and as far as the Yellowcard discussion goes, yes the guys haven't gotten much recognition for their newer songs, but after how big Ocean Ave was, how can you really follow that up. They are all classically trained musicians and employ a Violin/Fiddle player with is impressive to me. Not to mention their drummer is an absolutely beast, you'd be surprised how technical some of those fills are, i mean the guy has been playing since he was like 5 in his dads jazz band. But they don't suck, and put on a pretty solid live show.
Back on topic,
think a Coheed DLC pack should be released with the following
A Favor House Atlantic
No World For Tomorrow
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 (for the epic closing song)

Since mostly Coheed fans would download it anyway, you could always include more obscure songs like
Devil In Jersey City
The Velorium Camper I: Faint of Hearts
Gravemakers and Gunslingers

both would be excellent sets though
