Is Rockband being delayed in Canada again?

What does this mean? Who knows I just wish they would at least open up the DLC on Live for those of us that where lucky enough to get a copy of the game here is Canada

I can get the DLC no problem because PS3 doesn't have that restriction.

On the other hand my drums were defective out of the box, and they can't ship replacements until it is OFFICIALLY released here.

That really sucks. :c[ Between the drums and no guitar compatability yet, my funtastic four player game quickly became 2 player only.

So far no one knows if there actually is a delay here in Canada. FS and BB have posted a change in date and price but EB has not (called them 5 minutes ago and the salesman checked his computer, still Dec. 20, 169.99 for Xbox360 no price for PS3) so I don't know who to believe.

I just want the game already but there's nothing I can do but wait, oh well.

edit: Yeah the communication from EA has been the worst I've ever seen for any game release. I'm not blaming Harmonix as I doubt they have the answers and they're in the dark just as much as the rest of us.

If we find out mere days before the 20th that it is delayed again... well that pretty much kills any positive feeling I have for the Harmonix/EA entity....

I am still amazed at how Harmonix/EA refuses to explain to Canadians what is going on... I mean, a country of 30 million people (who buy more games per capita than Americans) isn't something you want to generate ill will toward your product, is it?

Please, someone give us an answer one way or another - even if its bad news - at least its NEWS.

That's true. Hopefully ya'll won't have to go through the crap we are going through with the guitar. At least they are trying to fix them.

Oh and as an FYI, they changed the price on the Contest page as well (Future Shop). It now says the retail price is $199.99. This is looking bad. Either FS/BB are ****ing with us hardcore or we're screwed. IMO, if we don't get word on EB receiving shipment this week then we can safely assume we won't be rocking till post-Christmas.

I believe that this is why Canadians were delayed in the first place because EA knew that they had so many defective guitars (remember your little pink slip in your bundles).I think there were more defects then expected and I wouldn't doubt it if Canadians were delayed untill some time in Jan 08.

I have read some people are on there 3rd replacement guitars not includeing bad drum sets.So where are they getting them from?..............The Canadian shipments !

When I finally get RB, I want it to work!So I will wait untill spring if I have to ,to get a product that isn't defective.

Man EA killed this game. They are the ones distrubting it and they are the ones that probably ****ed it up with the PS3 guitar and other perephrials. I hope activeblizzard destroyes them. (I still like harmonix though)
