Hi,
I might be kind of a newbie here asking this, but my Wii version of Rockband2 has been saying for over a week now that the new releases are "coming soon" at the opening screen for my music store. I can scroll through old songs but I've had none of the new DLCs show up for download and I'm really disappointed. Any help? I already reset my Wii and checked my internet connection and I have downloaded something since this has shown up so I know that I CAN connect to the music headquarters.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't think so...other people have gotten all the new DLCs from the past couple weeks (the last ones that showed up for me were the Iron Maiden tracks but nothing since then). Others are playing Maroon 5 and the Warped Pack and Evanescence....

So...yeah

It looks like you may have already discovered the answer to your question over in the RB forum, but I'll post here for others who are looking for the answer.

Only songs new to the RB platform (NOT to a specific system) are placed under the new releases section. While the Wii has been getting back catalog for the last couple of weeks, they haven't been getting the "new" releases (Spinal Tap, Evanescence, etc.), so the new releases section is displaying "Coming Soon" on the Wii.

Lily_Mu's Wii DLC thread. (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108554) I would watch the first page and the last pages of this thread.

Announcements Forum. (http://www.rockband.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=5) Releases for the RB platform are announced every Friday; if this announcement contains Wii pricing, the Wii will likely get the new DLC that week. Every Monday, another post is made in that announcement concerning which back catalog releases the Wii will be getting. LINK TO THIS WEEK'S ANNOUNCEMENT. Until all back catalog stuff is issued to the Wi Store, expect a periodic "Coming Soon" tacked onto the New Release heading.

And think of it this way....on the Wii, they are ALL "new" tracks....to us.

I too am having the same issues. I have a Wii.

So what. We just keep checking our wii and one of these days it will work and stop saying coming soon!!!!!

How long do you think that will take. I really want "Bring me to Life" Song. What kind of time frame are we looking at?

The Wii is still currently getting releases that are new to Wii users. Unfortunately, they do not show up in new releases as they are not new to the RB platform in general. When there are releases for the Wii that are also new for the RB platform, they should show up in the new releases section.

Check out Lily_Mu's thread that I linked to above to see the massive amount of DLC now available to Wii users. For perspective, Wii users now have over 70% of the DLC in less than 6 months that it took over 19 months for the X360 and PS3 users to get. They are quickly catching up on back catalog, and they will hopefully be able to keep up with all of the new releases then.

That is unknown right now. Check out Lily_Mu's thread to see projections from many forum regulars, and keep an eye on the Announcements forum to see when DLC will be released.
