I don't recall being buddy buddy with you, but I was a poster on the old school GH forums.

No matter though, we can be buddies here!

Welcome.

God that place went downhill uber fast. Let's hope the same fate doesn't befall this lovely little corner of internet. And seeing as how we've got actual mods, I don't think it will.

But yeah, I lurked over there mostly, made a few posts here and there. Can't say that I remember you, but as long as you weren't one of the annoying "DRAGONFORCE FOR GH2!" lot, then you're okay by me.

I saw you there, never really TALKED to you though. I was Tobascoaftershave (yay intentional misspellings)

Yeah, I think we have an extra layer of oversight that will prevent some of the downfalls of those forums. (for example, Rick Roll = ban--I hate that crap, we actually lock posts, comment, etc)

Plus the new community site will be awesome when it is rolled out.

Greatly looking forward to the new site, and yeah, the mods have been doing great work here at keeping things clean and lively. I was figuring if the RB forums were going to turn to crud it'd happen immediately after launch... and, well, the constant stream of "spy's sappin' mah gee-tar" and other tech woes were a bit much, but we didn't have any honest to goodness noise amidst the signal. I can't see it getting worse now that we've endured the launch, so huzzah. :)
