Tech problem?

i was on XBL yesterday and i invited a band member to play with me i hit "invite"on the menu where u can pic to search for people and stuff..when he hit accept it didnt do anything...so we tried him sending me a invite it didnt work. Is that a technical problem or was it just us? please explain thoroughly :)

Was the instrument he was playing the same as one that a band member was already filling? Otherwise it could have been an XBL hiccup. Try again and see if it works.

Nats?? and no he was on drums and i was on Guitar...we were the only ones trying to play that day
