I have a launch bundle but can't open it till Christmas, so it will most likely break. And ideas on how to cheaply and quickly reinforce (wwithout voiding warranty)?

the only way to reinforce it so that you can hide it should u want to warranty it is to use some time of adhesive instead of putting screws through it. that way most of the gunk from the adhesive can be removed prior to exchange.

do a search too, lotta info here about pedal mods that are relatively easy

anyone know a potential fix for this? was supposed to jam out fri with some people comin home from college but it doesn't look like an easy fix

it snapped right at the base (heel) where it connects to that metal rod. the metal rod still has the plastic around it and about a mm of actual pedal sticking out of it. i have no idea how to reinforce it at this point... HELP!!!!!!!

Just curious, do you wear shoes while playing?

After reading posts about broken pedals, I've set up a strict "no shoes allowed" policy when anyone wants to play on the drums. Even then, some of my friends stomp hard, and I fear for the pedal.
