NOTE: mods please read before locking if you want to lock it but I just wrote this sweet story and I just want to share it with people thanks! I'm just telling a story not complaining about the release date!

Rock Band, The Canadian Story

A little than more than a month ago, Canadians were outraged by the press release of Rock Band being delayed here in Canada. The reason? Packaging regulations requiring English AND French being on the box. "But why would it take a month to translate a f***ing instruction booklet?" some asked, and the common, "f***kin Quebec!", and many more useless comments.

Then, three days before November 20th (the original release date for Canada) FutureShop.ca changed their release date for Rock Band from December 20th to NOVEMBER 20th and people were freaking out calling their local EB Games and such. Some EB Games indeed said Nov. 20th bringing the hopes up of future Canadian Rockers while others still said Dec. 20th.

On that fateful day (Nov. 20th), Canadians went out to their local Best Buys, Future Shops, EB Games, GameStops etc, to only be disappointed by the delay of the greatest music-rhythm game, Rock Band. Some Canadians are lucky enough to live close to the border and get a copy of Rock Band... lucky son of a b's.... sorry to use harsh letters.

As the days went by, Canadians learned to accept to tragic delay by either enjoying themselves with such new releases as, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed (awesome game by the way) and many more. Some enjoyed reading people whining about how their instruments broke and so on. Others couldn't even wait till Dec. 20th so they bought the bundle from Ebay for 250$+.

With only 13 days left, Canadians were patiently awaiting the release of this game but then some one posted a thread on a fan site with the following title, "WTF is this? Canada duped again!"... now I didn't know what he meant but I clicked on it as fast as you could say "bread stick". The thread was basically that the Canadian Future Shop and Best Buy site had changed their release date to Dec. 28th...........PANIC!

Threads were getting locked left and right and people were going insane wanting to know if this is true!

Well here is the point of this thread. My theory is that the Dec. 28th delay is NOT true because remember when the Future Shop site changed their date BACK to Nov. 20 about 3 days before release. That didn't happen now did it??

So rest assured my fellow Canadians that we will be rocking out before Christmas!

THE END

Please rate story ?/5 Thanks!

And who wouldn't? Anyways, I just feel sorry for Canadians that they can't play until December. Happy rocking over Christmas!
