I know i saw it in a thread somewhere. It was a link to a page that had the minimum requirement for Gold Staring a song. It definitely needs to be stickied because i cant find it anywhere. Even if someone wants to copy and paste it from the other site just to have it here would be awesome because it is some great info. So a little help please!

I know exactly what you're talking about, here you go:

But I think either there's something wrong with the list or it's only one instrument, because I have well over some of those scores on vocals and no gold stars.

The list there is only for Guitar/Bass. They're working on Vocal and Drums still.

Great. thanks! I was confused because I found the list in a thread about vocals, and it didn't say anywhere on the site that it was for guitar, so I could only assume it was either vocals, guitar (I didn't think it was drums) or if the scores carried over for each instrument.

Welcome.
I think as far as Vocals is concerned, the Gold Star is only for 100%. I haven't really cared to try for that yet though. I'm just happy to nail the songs 5-star with an enthusiastic, yet choir-only voice.

No, the vocals are definitely on a score basis as well. Because I've gold starred songs I've only gotten 98% on, and others I got 100% without gold stars. It would be nice to know what score is necessary for the remaining songs I need, it could boost my desire to achieve it if I knew I was close.

On the ones you've gold starred, what's the score you have? I'd like to work towards them sooner or later.

I'll post them all here, and maybe we can start our own thread so we and others can list what to get to achieve gold stars.

Just to allow others to check it out, i will post it here. I believe it deserves a sticky here as well. Thanks to BatDan for setting this up over at ScoreHero.com
1. What are Gold Stars in Rock Band?
Unlike Guitar Hero, they're not for FCing a song but rather they're more like "6 Starring" a song. You can get 99% but if you score high enough can get a set of Gold Stars.
2. Can you get Gold Stars on Hard?
No. Only Expert. If playing multiplayer, then EVERYONE must be playing Expert for Gold Stars.
3. Are Gold Stars available on other instruments?
I'm sure, you just need enough skill to get them.
Alright. I'll place the songs in their tier order with the scores by them. I'll place the scores I know from sources such as videos and confirmations.
