Taking Back Sunday's medley of "Suburban Home" & " like Food" by the Descendents. The screaming makes my ears bleed...In a bad way.

Avril Lavinge has gotten a lot of mentions in this thread. Allow me to add "Knocking on Heaven's Door." Definitely worse than GNR's version.

Seether's "Careless Whisper." It's just odd.

Madonna's cover of "American Pie." What's the point of covering a song if you're gonna cut out half of it?

Evanescence covering STP's "Sex Type Thing" live. *Shudders*

This is just terrible. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyI11GhSMts) God, I really, really hate Velvet Revolver.

Until recently, I thought this was the worst Talking Heads cover. Then yesterday, I came across this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZrqXN6JZjs). I mean, the original is nowhere near Talking Heads' best songs, but the cover makes me want to cry. I have to agree. I'm a huge Guns N' Roses fan, but they miss the mark with a lot of their covers. I will give them props for changing their covers up when they do them, but some don't turn out great. "Live And Let Die" is awful. But "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Ain't It Fun", "Down On The Farm", and "Since I Don't Have You" are all good covers.

Blame the thread itself. I'm a fan of Atreyu. With that said, I can't stand that cover. It's funnier when on YouTube I said I was a fan, and I preferred the original over this.... and I get flamed for it. Saying I was wrong, and I know nothing. Considering Atreyu is pretty much mediocre, I still like the band. I just had to laugh at all of them. It was pretty sad.
