Alright, If you like Van Halen, or want Rock Band to be the best THING ever in the existence of the Universe, YOU'LL LISTEN UP!!!(sorry)
Ok, whenever anyone wants to put Van Halen in one of these games they always say
"OMG!!111 (either one of the following, Hot for teacher, panama, jump, unchained, aint talkin bout love, or ice cream man(i dunno why ice cream man but they do)) NEEDS TO BE IN THIS GAME CAUSE ITS THE BEST VAN HALEN SONG!!!, DUDUDUDDUDDHAAISDHFIHDKALSDJFKLDSJKL!" ..... yea, that sounds about right.
Now, I would love to see one of those songs in Rock Band because they all in fact kick a lot of ass, and I would have to say that Van Halen is one of, if not my favorite band, ever. ...
..BUT Van Halen's song "I'm the One" is the best song by Van Halen for Rock Band.(not their best song necessarily, but would be best for this game)
Now, before you reply with something along these lines "BUT!! HOT FOR TEACHER HAS THAT CRAZY DRUM OPENING, AND CRAZY FINGER TAPPING OPENING!!!!" or "BUT PANAMA IS WAY BETTER DOOD!" or "BUT IM MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND "ICE CREAM MAN" SHOULD BE IN!!!!!1111!!!11", just listen wut i have to say.
This would be my "awesome plan" (changed from perfect to awesome when i figured out it wasn't quite perfect)
Put in "Im the one" for the disc itself of Rock Band because:
1. Singing: Its freaking Diamond Dave, that means it kicks ass, and its pretty much a sing along song, once you've heard it and know the lyrics.
2. Guitar: Now if you ever want to hear Eddie Van Halen shred like a madman, this is the song to hear it, even though many might not agree with me on this right away, they will if you guys actually listen to the song. Anyways, it kickass because the normal riff of the song is really awesome sounding and is pretty difficult (a lot of open string muting to progressing notes, followed by insane fills that are literally everywhere), and the solo, though it might not be as face melting as "eruption" or the opening of "hot for teacher" it is still the best Van Halen solo there is. so yea, that wraps up the guitar part
3. Drums: Well since the overall tempo of this song is pretty frantic, the drums follow suite, my ears are not as trained to pick up drum patterns as they are to pick up the guitar parts, but believe me, its pretty intense and there are some pretty sweet fills throughout the song as well.
4. Bass: Who really gives a rats ass at how good the bass is, we all know that the person playing the bass in rock band is not going to be having as much fun as everyone else(hence why they gave them the opportunity to get a 6x multiplier), so pretty much, this song has a bass line, and its not nearly as fun as YYZ, i think.
Now, while all of you are still thinking, "BUT I WANT PANAMA!!!"
you can have ur panama, and i can too....
......because in my awesome plan they would release the "1984" album for download.
(this is why my plan is awesome, not perfect)
i understand that unchained is a kick ass song, as is aint talkin bout love, as a whole bunch of other van halen songs, and if my awesome plan carried out as planned (oooo believe me, it won't) then these songs and others that aren't in the 1984 album wouldn't be in this game.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT!??! cry about it!
so yea, to end this post abruptly I would like to say the following
1) "Im the one" is the best van halen song for rock band by far, if you disagree then you should actually listen to the song, then if you actually listen to the song and still disagree, well I dunno
2) 1984 would be one the best albums for download IMO
