Dear rockband,

Your songs are completely out of date and i understand your trying to get youth back into the crap but the songs dont sell. You have one emo song in the game "Fallout boy" and a few more recent new ones. Metallica is dead and so is all the other heavy rock crap get some paramore in here and bands that are in warp tour. You know music that actually sells thanks.

Um, Paramore is puffball music. It's the equivalent to...I dunno, whatever ripoff bands couldn't even do as good as Duran Duran in the eighties. And isn't Paramore the band with the idiotic video where the girl tries to make a point about posers by smearing some other girl's makeup, while she herself is wearing hideous eyeliner and stupidly orange hair? Do you even know what a paramore is without having to Google it?

Why the hell are you writing "Dear Rock Band,"? The game isn't a sentient being. It doesn't have a mind to respond. It's not going to have its nonexistent feelings hurt. You dolt.

As for Metallica and such being dead, they're coming out with a new album. So whenever Fallout Boy or Paramore can do two-year sold-out world tours with a multi-platinum album out, you can come back and put up a decent argument. there are some songs in the game that i probably wouldn't listen to outside of the game. however, when i'm playing the game i'm having a fun time trying to five star/gold star the song.

i personally don't like newer metallica, but rock band has the older metallica that i like. just because a bands newer music isn't my style doesn't mean i'm going to ditch their older music.

if you don't like the game, then don't play the game. the set list has been known for a while now and you could have looked the songs up and listened to them before hand. try to expand yourself and try something new.

Im 46 and have lots of money to spend on great songs from the 70's, 80's 90's, and if the song is good, even the 2000's, but it needs to be ROCK AND ROLL, not whiney wimp music, or rap crap.
That is the kind of stuff that will kill Rock Band for the people with the money to spend.

Fall Out Boy, RHCP, Coheed and Cambria, OK Go, The Hives, The Strokes, Flyleaf etc... Most bands that play on The Warped Tour (whats this warp tour you speak of?) are all very similar with powerchord heavy songs with angry depressed lyrics, nothing interesting.

Second, why would EA/Harmonix create a game full of songs marketable to teenagers who would have to work part time for a month to save up enough money to buy the game? This would completely isolate their older fan group and is just plain stupid. The songlist they have right now appeals to a wide variety of people and is a good mix of all genres.

If you don't like these songs don't buy them game, and go listen to some green day or something (try their stuff from around when you were born, when they were actually good).

:eek:Whoa, there partner! Do not put RHCP in the EMO group, because they are not emo. Now some of those other bands maybe, but I am not too familiar with their music. RHCP dates back way before emo and I don't think their music is anything like it. Just check out "Mother's Milk" or my favorite "Blood, Sugar, Sex Magik."

Coheed and Cambria is far from Emo. Learn your music genre's They are classified under Progressive Rock or Prog Rock as it is often referred.

Fall Out Boy on the other hand is Emo. Can't stand it.
