Cracked Disk #2!

Alright, I bought Rock Band 2 at launch. The disk cracked, from the middle leading inward. I didn't step on it or play frisbee with it, and it always went back in a case when I was done. Instead of bothering EA with it (read: I didn't call because I threw away the receipt), I just sucked it up and bought another disk. But this one developed one has a crack in it. Now I'm ANGRY.

Problem is, I don't have a receipt (again). I'm sure I threw it away, and EA is closed right now. I don't know what to do!

Does anyone have any suggestions or success stories, or am I gonna have to shell out ANOTHER $40 for Rock Band again, for a total of $160 on one disk? (first two were $60, and now RB2 is $40)


By the way--it's 360 if that makes a difference.

Have you moved the Xbox on it's side or from it's side to the ground, while the game was still within the console?

Has this ever happened with any of your other games?

I've moved it while there was a game in it, but only while it was off, and never while RB2 was in it, and never on purpose. I'm a forgetful person, you see. ^^;;

But I've never had it vertical or turned it vertical.

And now that I think about it, it has happened with CoD4 and Halo 3. But, I've gone through three Xboxs due to the RRoD, so I don't think it's the Xbox.

****, you're probably right...well, I'm just gonna get one of those soft cases that hold 40-something disks and hold all my games in that from now on.
