If it is about tapping fingers, I have grown beyond pinky-to-index or index-to-pinky. I trained so hard in the GH1 days to finally beat GFH on Expert that the main riff is what I tap out.

Come to think of it, that's probably the only guitar chart in any of these games that I've nearly memorized.

I do right to left, so back to front in that instance. Easier to hit notes, and comfortable.
