What is the best way to make a point on a forum?
Provide a logical, concise statement and support it by facts.
TYPE IN ALL CAPS WITH A BIG FONT

Duh, obviously it's better to TYPE AS BIG AS POSSIBLE SO THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE IT AND HAVE RUN-ON SENTENCES AND MAKE IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE AND FULL OF BIASED OPINIONS INSTEAD OF KNOWING WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT AND MAKE SURE TO CALL EVERYONE ELSE OUT BECAUSE ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG AND EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG.

AND MAKE QUOTE NESTS SO IT LOOKS LIKE THE ARGUMENT IS VALID WITH SUPPORTING DATA. OH NOES, WE DID BOTH.

Clearly a logical, concise statement supported by facts IN ALL CAPS would be the best way.

exclamation marks are key. as is large text. caps mean nothing if someone's previous post is literally towering over yours in every sense of the word.

We all know creating multiple threads on the same topic is the only way to ensure maximum exposure.

What are you talking about? I've never seen more that one thread about a single topic, ever.

Considering even my least dickish posts contain a point or two that are often completely ignored, I think I might have to resort to large fonts.
Trying to use logic on people that are clearly not able to understand logic is just a foolish errand, so big text is the answer.

Kind of like my prominent use of "douchebaggery" (as in "What is it with Jim and his constant douchebaggery?"). I'm gonna have to add dickish to my repertoire. Feel free to use douchebaggery in exchange, free of charge! :D

The best thing to do is not try to make one at all.
