I am sure there are many other PS3 owners like myself who are pumped for TB:RB. Particularly the 3 part harmonies that will be playable in every song. And I am sure there are many in the same boat as me who have one mic, and a bluetooth headset sitting around that they want to use to sing in TB:RB. I am hoping by making this thread we can get some people interested in the feature, and hopefully HMX will implement bluetooth support in TB:RB. Fans of the Beatles and your loyal customers would have nothing to lose by HMX implementing this feature. We wouldn't have to go out and buy even more peripherals, we would be getting the same feature as owners of the 360 headset are able to do, and in the end it would mean more people will be able to play TB:RB and have a great time and that is what HMX is all about.
So everyone leave your signature in support of bluetooth mic support for The Beatles Rock Band.

All I can say is that while the Xbox headset works, it sucks terribly. I also know from experience that the wireless headset is pretty bad for vocals as well. I can only imagine that a cellphone style headset would be pretty bad as well.

That wouldn't end well. Though, you could get them to make the instruments dongle-free (via Bluetooth).

I will never understand the motivation behind online petitions.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the game code is finalized by now, or near finalized.
In short, it is too late to suggest or petition for features.

I understand it is probably a cost issue, but I never understood why the instruments were not bluetooth to start with. Since the RB2 guitar has much better connectivity than the RB1 instruments, it isn't as big of a deal as it used to be, but why not use the wireless that is native to the system instead of dongles... stupid. Maybe we'll see this for RB3, but I'm not holding my breath.
On the headset issue, I can't imagine it working well and if it doesn't then I would rather not have the support. I already have 2 mics and they are really cheap if you pick up used ones at gamestop-like places.

I thought I saw somewhere that there are no third-party PS3 controllers that use Bluetooth. That'd explain the dongles for the instruments.
edit: Google says there's finally one (http://www.justvideogames.co.uk/first-3rd-party-bluetooth-ps3-controller-with-no-dongle-launched-1842.html).

You feel like you're doing something without actually making an effort?

If anyone thinks that an online petition ever accomplished anything, they are either 12, completely delusional, or both.

Wait a second...I have a PS3, and I'm pretty sure I can use a bluetooth wireless headset as a microphone (for vocals) in RB2, is there a specific reason that wouldn't work in The Beatles: RB? Maybe I missed something and it was stated that it wouldn't.
I have the official Sony headset by the way, but I'm sure it worked with my other bluetooth as well.
However, with that said I have to say it's not even worth the bother. They don't pick up pitch too well but I'm sure that's because they weren't made for singing so much as actually talking. Personally, I'm going to have to say it's better off just going for another microphone peripheral. You can get some cheap (and wireless) imported ones off of ebay.
Though I warn you, the wireless microphone I got from ebay didn't hold up very long (granted I probably shouldn't have dropped it so often) but man, I swear it worked wonders for my vocal career. It certainly imporved my scores.
