Okay, thanks. I play RB2 With my Guitar Hero drum kit and was thinking of switching to a RB kit , I just wanted to know if i needed a new pedal too.

If you're switching to a new RB set, it comes with a pedal, just thought I'd throw that out there.

fwiw, if you're planning on upgrading the pedal, it's not a whole lot more for an ION kit, best money I've spent on RB. Your mileage may vary.

But it's hard to stop there, you can upgrade the pedal for the ION kit too, add a third cymbal, get a snare stand ...
