View Full Version : AC Adapter for USB hub making a humming noise when plugged in.

No matter which electrical socket I plug my AC adapter into for the USB hub, it emits a humming sound. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is this a bad thing or can it be corrected in any way, shape or form. Thank you!

Anyone experiencing this or have any thoughts on it? It sounds almost like a fan inside the AC adapter is running.

I've never experienced it but it sounds like theres a bad ground or something in it. I've seen it thru bad guitar amp cords and mic cords. if you've dropped it or let it bang on something kinda hard then its very possible
