hey, I just wanted to know if it was possible that when we download a song or an album for Rock Band, do we also get a .mp3 version of the song so we aren't forced to purchase a song twice if we want a version where we can export it to an iPod?

Thanks

I dont think Microsoft or Sony has the rights to upload things to an Ipod, but it would be cool if we could have the songs in our hard drive, but thats asking a bit much.

Hell and no.

You know how much we'd be charged if MS and the studios learned we had complete access to the music? Pricing is a touchy subject as it is.

It would be cool if we could, but sadly no. The versions you download are made strictly for playing in Rock Band, there will be no mp3's with them so that you can listen to them. Quite frankly thats really not the point of this game or the DLC.

I think it would be awesome to have a soundtrack CD come with the game when you buy it. I love listening to the GH soundtracks on my iPod but finding the songs individually is no fun. But yea I wouldn't wanna jack up the prices just for a CD.

How about a collector's edition with a soundtrack cd included?

Yeah Guitar Hero introduced me to so many new bands, but since they were made for the game sadly we wont get the Mp3 version of it. As has been stated before it would probably cost a fortune
