I was wondering about what might happen with that 60 day warranty...
I was lucky enough to pick up a rock band bundle in the US since I live close to the border, not the Mexican one...my drums stopped working at first, now they are working fine again, but I think they might crap out again, and the same is happening with my guitar, the strumming and whammy bar are starting to mess up, and is becoming quite frustrating...
Anyway, what I was wondering is that if the Canadian release date keeps getting pushed back, it looks like Dec. 28 now, if it gets pushed back almost another month, which could easily happen, what the hell is going to happen to the warranty?? I tried the first day to send my drums back but couldn't because they haven't released this in Canada yet, so if this game gets delayed yet again, are we screwed then? Will EA help out the people who imported this game when it was released by extending the warranty?
As many of us have seen, there are some issues with the hardware, so there are obviously others who are in the same boat as me, imported the game, and can't get replacements. I would really like to replace my guitar, but that is not possible until it's released here, but even then so many people are on their 2nd or 3rd replacement and are still having problems...sigh...I just hope that it comes out here before the 18 of jan (I think thats when the warranty is up) so I can send my guitar back.
Hopefully, everything is being worked out now, and the release date doesn't get pushed too much further or if it does, PLEASE, please extend the warranty EA.....I still can't get over though how that pink warranty sheet is half English and half FRENCH hahah what the hell is that? I guess this bundle was part of the "delayed" Canadian shipment...

I would like to know the answer to this as well as I have imported a bundle from the states and my drums are not working properly. Is Harmonix going to help us out by allowing replacements to be sent to Canada?

I guess that's what you get for being impatient.

I say once it is released in Canada go for the replacement warranty. There should still be a number of defective instruments that may get through so the chances are good that we will get help if needed.

Will they honor the warranties on imported bundles once the game is released here? Is this just assumption or rumor or is it confirmed? I have family vacationing in the states now and am thinking about having them pick up a bundle but I wanted to make sure about that first.
Or can anyone who has contacted support for replacement link me the email address? :) thanks

Since you are a paying customer you are intitled to warranty no matter where you choose to buy it from. Once Canadian warranty is up and effective you can do your claim through them. I can't see why is wouldnt work since the products offered are the same in both the Usa and Canada.

This is a question I had too. I bought mine in the States. I haven't had a problem yet but I'm concerned that if I do... what will happen?
Hopefully nothin happens... but I beat up on my kick pedal pretty bad.

I also got my preorder from the states and live in Canada. Since our 60 day warranty will still be in effect when it officially releases in Canada we will be able to go through with replacement since we will still be covered.
