These are all around the post 2000 era of music. Also they tend to be more on the independent, lesser known spectrum of artists which tends to interest me more, as i believe it does for most older people. Obviously, not everyone will like 100% of my suggestions, but some of them, like Spoon, are just way too good for you to pass up.
