If you've played GH3 you've obviously heard of them, and I've been listening to them for a few years and I've been wanting to see them forever, and I FINALLY got to this year.
And wow.
That tour cost 42 dollars, but even if all the other bands sucked, that band alone made it all worth it.
They started off just playing their set and it was pretty normal, and then after the first song the frontman Frank got off stage and right into the middle of the crowd, stating that if we were suffering in the sun he'd go right down with us. That alone really upped the fun factor, considering there were barricades in front of the stage, so it really brought the band closer to the fans, literally and figuratively. From there on it was one huge sing along, with some circle pits in between. In between every song there was some banter going on, and he even tried to get the security guards to start their own circle pit, but they weren't gonna have any of it.
The last song of their set, Orchestra of Wolves, ended with Frank crowdsurfing for the last minute of the song while the entire crowd chanted along with the song.
Say what you will about the band, but they're absolutely INCREDIBLE live.
I'm still on a high from it.
Has anyone else went to warped this year?
Anyone have any awesome experience they wanna share?
