Rockband 2 For Wii Drum Problems

I have had this issue once before but cant remember what I did to get it to work. My guitar sync is fine but when I turn on my drums they just keep flashing. I have tried to re-sync both the dongle and the drums. Can you tell me how to fix this or what could be wrong??? Help Please:confused:

Not trying to insult your intelligence, sometimes the simplest things done in the correct order can make a difference.

This thread has complete step by step instructions for setting the Wii instruments up, http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110138.

Try following them to the letter for the drums (except for the part about putting the legs on etc :-).

I have tried doing everything like when I first set up the drums. I tried it step by step but it still just flashes. Any other help????:confused:

Are you chaining the instruments together? As in plugging one dongle into the next? If so, try it with just the drum dongle plugged into the Wii, no other instruments plugged in.

If that doesn't work, hopefully you're still within the warranty period, less than 60 days from purchase and have your receipt.

I have tried to just plug in the drum dongle but it still does the same. And Unfortunately, we purchased it at christmas time. It would be great if they sold the dongle separately. Any other suggestions??
