all the songs in the game r fun to play but wen i here some of the songs that didnt make it to guitar one two or three....n even on rock band makes me mad.......but i understand the y it hasnt touch any of those games........but here r some of the songs i think should come out as dlc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would you include a no-vocal song (Orion) in a three-pack? Now personally, I would include it... but that's because Master of Puppets should be a full album download. That album is just too good.

For a(nother) three pack, mine would probably be more like:

For Whom the Bell Tolls
One

Creeping Death would rock though. So would Jump in the Fire. And more...

Slash 'attached himself to GH3'. That doesn't really matter, he doesn't own the full rights to the songs either way. Metallica is in both, as well as the Rolling Stones. it really doesn't matter- i doubt he signed a long term contract with the GH guys.

From Activision's point of view Guns and Roses is an exclusive to their Guitar Hero game. Not so much from the Slash side, but it is more something that has to do with Activision.

That may be their perception, but they haven't signed a deal to that effect.

They may have gotten some sort of verbal agreement from Slash and/or Duff that they would not give the "OK" to use the original bands tracks for the games, which WOULD hold up use of the originals based on their performances...or any of the stuff published with "guns n Roses" as the author (which, admittedly, is most of appetite). According to the recent court case settlement, the trust (which includes Axl, Slash, Duff, and even, I think, Steven) has to give the OK on ALL of that material.

But they can't really stop anyone from using the songs written by Axl, Izzy, etc as "cover tracks". That's a whole lot of the UYI material, and the Lies material. They'd just need to deal with Sanctuary Music Group to secure publishing rights, since that's who controls Axl's piece and, I think, Izzy's.

I hold out SOME hope that RB will eventually manage to secure some GnR...but nothing with GnR is ever easy.

Guns 'N' Roses: Don't hold your breath.
Zeppelin: Not going to happen. Read previous posts in this board about Plant not putting anything in video games.
Metallica: One's already confirmed as an individual song, and I'm willing to bet that the Master of Puppets album is going to be the unnamed Metallica album we've been waiting for.
Bon Jovi: Shot Through The Heart does not exist as a Bon Jovi song. You might be referring to You Give Love A Bad Name. Livin on a Prayer is a little slow for this song, but Bad Medicine would work WONDERS. I also love how you picked the 3 big ones of the '80s for them.

Other than Metallica, more RHCP would work better than these bands. And by RHCP, I mean Red Hot Chili Peppers, for those who don't understand acronyms like myself.
