linkin park and korn pretty much killed that. other than that, some decent choices.

Dragonforce? No. Too hard for most of the people that have this game. Most people got no more than 2% through on Expert on TTFAF on GH3 (And I don't care if YOU got further. I'm saying MOST.)
Limp Bizkit? Come on. Break Stuff is too short, and the other 3 songs just plain suck. Faith is a better choice than those 4. If you want My Generation, just go with The Who.
Slipknot? I truely hate that band, but to each his own. That would work as DLC.
Linkin Park: I like them, but the problem is vocals. Listen to Chester sing. It's like there's 6 people singing. Try to get that to register with the vocal chart.
Queen: very simple on bass and guitar. Drums and vocals would be awesome, though.
Other than that, good picks. Could go in deeper with some bands (Foo Fighters: All My Life, The Pretender, Everlong, Big Me, This Is A Call, etc).

I like LP, but their not for Rock Band. They have an MC and a singer... sort of lol.
Limp Bizkit would be fun just because their songs are SO bad that they're fun to sing along with.
To the guy above me Dragonforce would actually be better for RB than GHIII if you have the Strat because you could use the lower frets and not have to strum, but the drums would be near impossible unless they come out with a drum kit with a second pedal to simulate double kick bass.

Personally I'd love to see some Slayer, but again the speed of the bass drum makes many songs difficult to include.

Overall great list. More Foo Fighter songs though. In fact I'd love to see ALL of Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace.

Actually, my young Padawan, you would only be able to use the non-strumming in the solos, which are closer to the middle. The intro would not classify as a solo.
