Why would that void your warranty? You can simply rip it off if you need.

Violet from EA said in another thread that trying to tape up your kick pedal to "fix" it until your replacement arrives will not void you warranty, as it is clear that the tape itself was not what caused it to stop working.
I would think that the same applies to your drum pads. The tape isn't what caused the drums to stop working, hence will not void your warranty.

Tape is not a physical change to the hardware. There is no logical reason to think it should void the warranty.
