I'm having a hard time doing a search on PS2 in this forum. I can find absolutely no information on the ps2 version of the game anywhere on the internet, even here. So I am going to ask some questions and hopefully some of the rock band mods or employees can help me out. I'm considering buying it for a friend of mine who has no plans to buy a 360 or ps3. I already have plans to buy the 360 version for myself sometime in the future, as I have played and enjoyed it a lot. I like the whole downloading songs thing, so please, nobody say anything about me buying a 360 or ps3 or something.
First of all, I want to know if the PS2 version will have the same create a character aspect, and if it is toned down any (ie: less stuff to choose from or anything like that) aside from the obvious fact the graphics won't be as good.
I also want to know if the ps2 chat headset we use for online gaming will work on the ps2 version. The faq here covers the xbox and ps3 but no mention if it will work on ps2.
I also want to know if I buy the standalone version without the drums, if that is even available, and also if there will be a hub to plug in all the stuff. Or is it just 2 controllers and the mic and/or drums go into the usb ports.
