Code not working for 20 free song downloads

On Saturday I bought Rock Band 2 Special Edition new from EBGames. The box was sealed and labeled new. Also, the game case inside was shrink-wrapped.

When I try to redeem the 20 free downloads per the instructions on the back of the game manual the site here tells me that my code is not valid. I've double-checked it a few times and the game is certainly new so it should not have been used before.

There is a link to go to the EA support site for help, but the link takes you to a section of the support site specifically for RB2 and it only deals with hardware support.

After searching I can't find anything on the entire support site about problems with redeeming the 20 songs and I can't seem to find any numbers to call.

Anyone have any ideas?

That Rock Band micro support site is useless, it only addresses hardware issues. And the EA support site in general is impossible to navigate. It is the most confusing, poorly managed waste of bandwidth I've ever had the displeasure of using.

But thanks for the phone number, I'll give that a shot when I get home. :)
