What would be sweet if there was a playing content editor or a service that HMX offered where unsined bands could provide tracks and be featured as free downloads. Think about it. Millions of people would hear your tune. I guess not everyone would be picked but i am sure there are people out there that would be willing to program the play content... for a lot of the instruments couldn't software pretty much write the tracks (play a drum into it and it can detect the bass and snare like a bpm counter). I think if bands could put up tracks as downloads for free (obviously there would have to be some sort of selection process or something to prevent flooding) but if that could happen i think it would build not only the bands fan base but to the community idea of rockband while enouraging people to actually play instruments as well as play music games.
