I got my Rock Band bundle the day after it was released. Within 3 days after that, my guitar strummer broke. It took almost 2 weeks, but I got the new replacement guitar.

I've been reading these forums and all this talk about broken or malfuctioning drum parts has me worried. Being that the warranty is only 60 days for the equipment, should I just have my drum and pedal replaced now even though they haven't broke yet? I don't slam on them hard but it makes me nervous to hear all these stories and also having my experience with the guitar.

Thoughts?

95% of the drum returns are not do to them breaking under use. They are returning because the sensors are not properly recognizing fast rolls.

Basically if your drums work don't send them back as you might end up with worse.

Just reinforce the pedal yourself. The replacements are no different.
