Flaky Frets on a RB2 Strat

Ok, my strat's starting to show some signs of aging. I'm having trouble with the blue and orange frets. Unless I hold them fairly centered they will drop out in the middle of a sustain and though I can't prove it (of course) but I'd bet that I'm missing some notes too. I'm guessing that the contacts could use some cleaning and I'm wondering what the procedure would be for that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I saw a thread few months ago about making the frets more responsive, had to do with using aluminum tape, this might help you out. Couldn't find it though sorry.
