Sessions Keep Expiring

I have befriended a few players and the first time we tried to invite each other into the game we just keep getting the message that our sessions have expired. No big deal, thought it was live being lame, we'll try again another time.

Just now we tried to invite each other and we are still getting the same message that our sessions are expiring.

Any ideas or advice?

I have this problem with certain people too. And personally, I don't know enough about computers to try that whole opening router ports thing. I think there is a post about that somewhere if you want to try that.

One thing you can try though, is having all people involved in the band run a XBOX Live connection test, and then try again after that. If that doesn't work, you can try the router ports thing, but most likely you are just SOL. It's a known problem, that I don't know if Harmonix is working on fixing with all the things they have going right now.

Well we finally were able to join a game. Unfortunately it was on another 360. She was using the arcade and the other 360 that was able to connect was the elite. Is there any difference?

I wasn't sure if it was HMX because we couldn't join a party as well
