Indie Band Recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations??? I'm a big fan of rock and love to discover new music…I've been listening to Wide Awake for a bit and just had a chance to see them in Kamloops the other night it was a really good show! They are a must see live act. If you have a chance they are playing the Vancouver and Alberta area for the next month and bit, you should go check them out especially if you are into the rock sound. I don't know if you're basing "Indie" on its loosely defined genre, or simply as hardly known bands. But Gowie once called them indie when I showed him (or at least I think I ermember him doing that).
