how do u recored rock abnd

hi i was wondering how ppl recored the track when playing on rock band
like the 100ths of videos on youtube

i was told adobe premier element but it looks like a movie maker not a recording software
if it is plus tell me how?

Some people use cameras, I don't suggest it unless you have a wall to plug your games audio into the camera.

there are many out there and they cost about $100
but you can also record tv shows
many different users on youtube use picture in picture effects meaning they not only use a capture card, but another camera to record them playing

I have a pinnacle capture card that records directly to my psp or any usb device (IPod, Flash Drive)

other capture cards (dazzle) need a cord connected to the computer
