help with instruments

i just purchased the no doubt album and decided to try them after intalling the songs i inserted the game cd and it asked me to download the version 1.07 i did not my guitar and drums wont work ?

Are you on the PS3?

Sony's recent firmware update (2.80) causes all RB controllers to default to Controller port 7. You need to go into the XMB and manually change the controllers to #1.

If you aren't on the PS3, then something else must be amiss.
