Also, I think the reason Gears 2 didn't win so many was because the "Gears Fanboys" are the people that played Fallout 3. :D

No surprising choices, but all solid ones. I'm wrapping inFamous up as we speak, and it was a fun game, if a bit short. Might have to get back to playing Fallout 3 after that, it's fun, but it's fallen prey to 'Morrowind syndrome' (I played it so intensely for a while that I needed a break, and am having a hard time getting back into after that).

I also just got Chinatown Wars for the DS. Not a huge GTA fan, but it'll be worth a shot.

my friend with a PS3 let me play and I was unimpressed. Also, Fallout 3 deserves every award it got.

You need to get into inFamous a bit before it becomes really enjoyable. It really reminds me a lot of Spider-Man 2 in that simply moving around the city with your powers can be highly entertaining. It's also very atmospheric and it has a decent storyline (despite the painfully black and white karma choices. The dead drop messages scattered around the city add a lot to the plot, though).

X-Play does the same thing with RB2 and GH. In one of the episodes or something they had a poll of which music game is the best, and guess who won RB2 CUZ TEY R TEH RB2 FANBOIZZZ! They're like in love with RB2, but they always hate GH. But I don't mind now since i have both.

And also I've played inFamous at my friend's house. I really loved it, but I chose to be bad since you look cooler.

I would like to see the vote percentages for everything. There is no doubt that the Wii got the least amount of votes in Favorite System. However, I am more interested to see how MadWorld did in all of the categories it was in.

Spider Man 2 is still my favorite open world game. I played the inFamous demo, I want to get it, but the Scrooge in me doesn't want to pay for it. :o

Rock Band 2 won Best Party Game, that's all I care about, as well as the awards LBP won. Awesome game, hands-down one of my favorite platformers of all time.
